How it works

Renting, start to finish

What you need, what it costs and what happens next. If something isn't answered here, ask when we call.
  1. 01

Pick the car and your dates

Browse the cars, check the daily rate and what's included, and send a request with your dates.

  2. 02

    We call to confirm

We check the car is free, go over your licence and insurance, and confirm the price and deposit. A $50 booking deposit holds the car and comes off your total.

  3. 03

    Pick up and drive

Bring your licence, proof of insurance and the card for the deposit. Pick up from 6 AM, or ask about delivery in the GTA.

Before you book

What you need to rent

We check all four before the car leaves. A bigger deposit can't replace insurance.
  • 18 or older

Drivers 23 and under can rent too, with a $1,500 minimum deposit instead of $1,000.

  • A G2 or full G licence

Valid and not expired; a temporary licence only if it can be verified. Every driver needs to be on the rental agreement.

  • Insurance that covers rentals

OPCF-27 on your own auto policy, or a credit card that covers rental cars. OPCF-27 is a quick call to your insurer and usually added the same day.

  • A credit card for the deposit

The security deposit starts at $1,000, with at least $500 held on a credit card. It is released once the car is back and checked.

The price

What the daily rate includes

Per calendar day, 6 AM to 11:59 PM, before HST.
  • 200 km a day

Pooled across your rental. Extra km are $1/km, or $0.50/km if you arrange them in advance.

  • Lower rates for longer rentals

Most cars cost less per day from 3 days, and less again from 7 days. The rates are on every car page.

  • Delivery available

We can bring the car to you in the GTA. The fee depends on distance and is quoted when we confirm.
